Increase space between bullet and type

Hi,

I'm working in a document where the bullet points are already set up and there is a very small amount of space between the bullets and the space which comes after them. Is there a way to format that on a larger scale so that there is more space after them?

I'd set up a tab after the bullet points then find and replace all "bullets+space" with "bullet+tab".
