I am after some advice on the best way to insert images into a marketing asset. I have attached an image to try and demonstrate what I want to achieve. It would essentially like to insert images into the gradient wave but not sure how to go about it.

Thanks in advance.

Both of these objects are linked images. One of them (the wave) needs to be a vector object for this to work.

Your wave is an image.

Create a vector shape, put it on top of your wave and your images, select all an create a clipping mask.

I have tried that but I just get an error that says "cannot make clipping mask"

So I've managed to create a clipping mask now but this is the result. I need the image to be fitting inside the gradiant wave at the bottom.

There are a few ways you could do it.  One way I would use is individual masks for each image.  I would dupe the gradient and use the dupe to build the mask.  This gives you the ability to match existing shape.  If you have three images, dupe the gradient three times.

I have come across the attached issue. I believe it's to do with the format of the gradient wave. I have trial it on a simple ellipse and it has worked. It won't pick up on the curves of the wave. Is there a way to format the wave?
