Is there a way to save OpenType Figure & Position settings?

The title is pretty self-explanatory. Is there a way to save OpenType Figure & Position settings so when you open a new template you'll have Proportional Lining already selected for all new text objects?

Hoping I understand your post, as I think what you are asking can be done by setting up a paragraph style or character style.

If you have created a text box and typed within it, define the font, size, tabs, etc. that you need, then go to "Window" menu, select "Type", then select "Paragraph Styles".

Finally, select "New Paragraph Style" from the paragraph style palette's fly-out menu.

Save your document as a template so that this paragraph style can be applied to future text when the template is used.
