Hi,
i'm curious, does anyone else using Windows 11 having copying problems in illustrator ?
I'm experiencing severe lag in copying open text! I need to hit 'copy' anything from 3 up to a dozen times for it to finally copy something! This seems to only apply to open text for me, not for paths, and it is only an issue in Windows 11, not on my other system which runs Windows 10. It also makes no difference which font i'm using.
Quite frustrating! I'm wondering why it would even be an issue

I'm using Windows 11, no lag here on Illustrator v29.6.
I copied point text and area text, I'm not sure what open text is.

Ok, thanks for the reply. By 'open' text i'm meaning it has not been outlined into paths.
I don't know what point and area text is, haha!
I'm trying to find out whether it's just something to do with my system, hence i asked the question

There is a long list of third party applications that interfere with copy/paste operations.
Do you have any of this?

Yes i have Logitech keyboard options and Team Viewer is installed, they are work requirements. I initiated Windows Clipboard History recently to try to solve the copying issue because it was recommended my clipboard might be full and needs clearing, but i've turned it off again because it didn't make a difference, and clearing clipboard data remains greyed out no matter what i do.
i have the same app installations on my other system (Windows 10) on which I do not experience this issue.

You could try and boot into Safe Mode and then not run anything else. Then check out if it works.
Unfortunately Illustrator only cares about its own work requirements, not about anyone else's.
