As of a week or so ago, I started having an error message that states:
"Two or more sets of register marks are contained. Delete unnecessary register mark."
This is happening with files that we've been using for years, and have never been a problem before. I know for a fact that there are no "unnecessary register marks". I'm receiving the popup on three different computers, so I don't think it's a configuration issue. I called Mimaki Tech Support and the guy had no idea what might be causing my issue. He basically told me that I should try recreating all of the files from scratch and see if that fixes the problem.
It almost seems like there was an update that broke something. I've tried going back a few versions of Illustrator and it doesn't fix anything. I'm unable to go back in versions on FineCut, so I can't really test that.
Am I the only one having this issue?
I just had this problem and I don't know if this is a fix for your particular situation, but if the register marks and the cut lines are both the same spot color (I don't know if the register marks are typically this color, I haven't paid attention to that) then finecut will think there are multiple sets of register marks. Change the color of your cut lines and the problem should resolve. Hope this helps!
