Hi all-

Everytime I open illustrator I am now facing a new issue. I get a dialgot box with a JavaSCript Alrt. It states: Error: aborted.

I can click OK but it will keep popping up forever. There is no way to get rid of it, even after a restart.

Not sure what has caused this, anyone else?

I have the same problem, but I can use the program after close around 10-30 JavaScript Alert windows.

Please help.

This is happening to me also. Has there been a fix for this?

Hello @treblechef73,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind confirming the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, so I can check this with the team? Also, try the following steps to reinstall Illustrator to check if they help:

Was a resolution ever found for this bug? I have this exact error showing up every single time I open Illustrator.

I've resorted to tucking it into the corner of the screen to continue working.

Hi @Tinman1028 and @Tyler Licata

Apologies for the inconvenience. Please navigate to the following location, delete the Illustrator 2025 folder, and restart the app:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC

Let us know if this helps!

Regards,

Srishti
