JPEG export

Hello All

Bear with me on this. I figure the more info, the better.

I have a fillable template made with LiveCycle ES4. In this template, I load a JPEG for a pictorial representation of a weld joint. A new joint came out and I had to make it in the Illustrator CC. I exported the drawing to a JPEG when I was done and saved it to my desktop. I then opened my template to try it out. I loaded the JPEG like I do all the time but the field was empty. Frustrated after changing the resolution of the JPEG multiple times I decided to save it as a PDF. I opened the PDF using Acrobat DC and exported as a JPEG using the default resolution settings. Again, I tried loading the image into my template and it worked.

My question is.... WHY?

I don't understand what is the difference between a JPEG made with Illustrator and Acrobat DC. there shouldn't be any difference but yet its acting differently. All are adobe products

I am a novice user.

Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

Thanks & Regards
