Hi,
I've printed a black on white a4 poster but the white background did not turn out well and haha pixelated background. See 15191273211271426828061 — imgbb.com
Meanwhile, the pdf version was fine with a crisp white background.
What do I do to get rid of the unclear jpeg background?
Thanks!!
Open the jpeg in Photoshop and use the eye dropper to take a reading of the color mix for the whites. If the readings are completely white, then you should ask your printer for a refund.

i'm not sure what i'm looking at in that photo, but why do you need to print a JPEG if you can print PDF?

I'm with Doug, not sure what you are asking. ,jpg is an RGB compressed format, you should not use that for printing.

The photo is is the white background from the jpeg. It's got grey grid lines on it.
I used jpeg because some printing services request it.

Then change the printing service.

I could do that but I still want to find out why this issue occurs.

The jpeg you created probably has a slight tint where it should be white. How did you create the jpeg? How do you know for sure that the original PDF had a perfectly white background?

Hi Theresa,
The jpeg was via illustrator.
The picture is actually the printed jpeg. I also printed out a pdf and I compared them.

Can you share the file's, Illustrator and resulting jpg?

Thank you Theresa!
I think it was the printer itself !
