Hi All,

I have two shapes like in the screenshots below, and when I click the "minus front" button in "pathfinder, then it removes the front object.

But I need the keep both objects.

Do you know how to keep minus front object while using the pathfinder tool ?

Thanks for all answers...

Open the entire Pathfinder palette to get both the Shape modes and Pathfinders.

Then see if Pathfinder Divide or Trim will do what you want.

You can first make a copy of the front object before you use the Minus Front option.
