Hello guys, I have a question to here.

Anyone knows how text to italic in illustrator 2018?

Actually when in 2017, I made it by an icon which shape is T and tilted.

But, from version of 2018, I can't find it anymore.

Where is it? Do you guys know it?

Please let me know if you guys know.

Thanks always.

Taylor,

For a fake italic, you can always Object>Transform>Shear with the desired angle (if you must).

strictly speaking, you'd make text italic by using an italic font. there isn't as far as i know a way of faking it ad hoc with oblique characters in Illustrator. you could shear the whole text object, but that would rarely be a good solution.
