Making a Curved Label

Community Beginner ,
May 07, 2021 May 07, 2021

So basically I am an absolute novice when it comes to Illustrator! I'm trying to make a curved label for my products and I've followed a guide using two concentric circles and a triangle with the calculated angle. I'm at the point where I've got the correct shape but I need to delete all the other lines and I don't know what to do!

It's the curved rectangle at the top that I need on it's own. I've tried to use divide on pathfinder as per the intsructions I had but that isn't working.

Please help!

You may select all, take the Shape Builder tool and hold down the Alt key while dragging across the portions that you are going to trim.

There are other ways, but this way should be pretty straightforward.
