Mask glitch viewing with GPU

Explorer ,

All the masked objects show a white rectangle glitch since the last Illustrator update. If I switch to "view using CPU" it displays normally, so I guess it could be a GPU problem?

Is that Illustrator version 29.6.1 ?

If so, I can't seem to replicate the issue as per your screenshot. Can you share this sample Illustrator file?

Also, what OS are you using?

It doesn't let me upload the AI file. But anyway I noticed the same issue on other files using masks, so I don't think the file is corrupted  (again, it was fine before last update)

To attach the sample file, you can save it as .pdf with the Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities option turned on.

Or you can just rename the .ai file to .pdf

Thanks.

This is how it looks when I open your file in Illustrator 29.6.1. (GPU preview). No glitch as far as I can see.

Then I guess it's my computer... Illustrator and most Adobe apps have been performing quite poorly lately. I will try to format the drive and see if it helps, otherwise it sounds like my macbook it's getting obsolete 😞

Instead of giving up your entire machine you may check if there are any (driver) updates for the GPU you are using.

That may or may not help, but it's at least worth a try.

I think the GPU driver comes integrated with macOS... I'm thinking maybe my graphic card is no longer compatible with Illustrator? (Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB) Perhaps downloading an older version will do
