missing files options!

Hey Guys!

So I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue as it's driving me bonkers!

Whenever I go to open or save a file my normal option on the left sidebar are missing, i.e. desktop, current work folders etc.

How do I get them to show back up again? Its just in Illustrator, my normal Mac Finder still works perfectly fine
