...more font compatibility

Hi, a client of mine (PC user) told me that, among many .ai and pdf files I’ve sent her, there’s a particular one which appears to be pixelated both on screen and on print (I assume she uses the PDF). This font presented  some compatibility issues, as I am a Mac user. We seemed to have solved these by having her send me the fon. I’ve naturally checked and retyped the text. This seems to be the only problem (the rest of the text in the same file seems fine). What could have happened?

Without seeing the file, a screenshot and a photo of the print and without knowing both the versions of Illustrator you used, it's impossible to tell.
