multiple devices

When i purchase a program (ex. adobe illustrator) can i use it on multiple devices or just the one i downloaded on.

I am using a mac mini and ipad pro. Can i use it on both?

You can have it installed on 2 devices, but use it on only one parallel.

On the iPad you can't use Illustrator at all.

On the iPad you can use Illustrator Draw (mobile app), but that's a completely different thing.
