My .ai file changed into .ink, what can I do to fix it?

Hi all,

I am wondering whether you could help. I've saved my file in dropbox and shortly afterwards the extension of my file changed into .ai.ink, I can no longer open it in Illustrator. Can anyone help? Many thanks

*.lnk it's windows shortcut extension. Are You sure, that You are trying to open original files?

If it has a double extension, what happens if you remove the .ink one?
