Need Help Script Error C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC\Adobe Photoshop

Every time that i open illustrator this message shows:

Error in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC\Adobe Photoshop

Line 1:

I/O error

And my program crashes all the time when i am trying to export an image or when the files have 2 or 3 pictures.

• The exact version of OS and its built number
• The exact version of Illustrator
• When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, plugins, or web extensions installed recently.
• Would it be possible for you to compress the Startup Script folder in the Zip file from the location mentioned in error and upload it to Creative Cloud/ Dropbox or any other similar service and share the download link here with us?

Also, when does this error pop up while launching the app or while using the app? Does the app close/ crash or start not responding after clicking on the "Ok" button?

Thanks for your time & patience. The product team suggested renaming the "Startup Scripts CC" to "Startup Scripts CC.old" from this location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe

Buenas tardes, estoy experimentando el mismo problema que y he intentado la solución que indicó sobre renombrar la carpeta "Startup Scripts CC" to "Startup Scripts CC.old", pero persiste el error.
Esto sucede hace 2 semanas. 
¿Hay alguna otra solución? Quizá con una nueva actualización del software corrigiéndolo.

Hola, realicé esta opción y no pude resolverlo. También probé la solución que compartieron a continuación de este hilo y tampoco tuve una solución. De que otra manera se puede resolver. Lo que si probé es eliminar el archivo Photoshop.jsx y me dejo de aparecer el error, aunque no se si afectará a otra cosa al eliminar el archivo en cuestión.

This issue is completely dynamic, and we are unable to replicate them on our end. We have collected multiple users' preferences and the Startup Scripts CC folders, but we still couldn't replicate this issue on our machines.

 Tengo el mismo error , ya probé cambiando el nombre de la carpeta a .old , ya probé eliminando la carpeta , probé ejecutando comandos el archivo ilustrator-20.0.jsx como se me muestra en el error y aún asi el mensaje de error sigue saliendo. Por otro lado , pude que la ventana me deje de aparecer pero cuando inicio el programa , no responde y ademas de ello vuelvo a dejar los archivos como estaban , exporto en pdf y luego de un tiempo quiero volver a exportar en pdf mediante secuencia de comandos y no pasa absolutamente nada. Por favor solicito apoyo con eso.

Sorry for the delayed response. To help resolve the problem, you can try deleting the Startup Scripts CC folder from the following locations:

1. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
2. C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe

For some users, moving the Startup Scripts CC folder to the Desktop or deleting it from these two locations has worked as a solution.

Sorry about this hassle. In this situation, I would suggest trying complete reinstallation of Illustrator by following these steps:

• Uninstall Illustrator using the Cleaner tool.
• Remove the related folders from the following locations:
  C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator
  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2022
• Remove the Startup Script CC Folder from the following location:
  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
• Reinstall Illustrator from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

Please note that this process will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings.

Même souci de mon côté. De plus, depuis un certain temps, mon espace de travail se modifie à chaque fois que j'ouvre l'application. J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé Illustrator à plusieurs reprises mais rien n'y fait !

Would you mind moving the Startup Scripts CC folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC to the desktop and then relaunching Illustrator to check if it helps?
