ello!
I recently upgraded my operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11. This new operating system has its quirks, and it takes some getting used to. However, something I haven't been able to get used to is the new interface in Illustrator for printing. It feels like the interface has added others windows, making the printing process slow. Before, it was just one window; you adjusted the necessary options—paper type, number of copies, print quality—and it printed. Now, it opens an Illustrator window for printing, then another window with print options in Windows, and if I want to adjust the print quality, yet another window opens... and if I want to change any of those options again, everything I had already selected is reset to its defaults! This isn't very user-friendly. This used to happen in Photoshop (new version in windows 11), but in Photoshop, I unchecking the "New Modern Interface" option reverted it to the old interface, which I greatly appreciate.
How can I fix this in Illustrator?
I've attached an image of what I mean.
Thank you in advance.

Hello @jyrtechnology_3373,
Thanks for reaching out. The Modern Print dialog was introduced by Microsoft in Windows 11 22H2. Could you try the suggestions shared in this third-party article to restore the legacy print dialog (https://adobe.ly/457JzsM) to see if it helps?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello @Anubhav M !
Thanks for the answer, i made the first steps, entering the CMOS WINDOWS (command symbol) and then enter the code:
reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Print\UnifiedPrintDialog" /v "PreferLegacyPrintDialog" /d 1 /t REG_DWORD /f
and for now, is working, It reverted to the old printing interface in illustrator; it no longer opens those unnecessary Windows 11 windows print. For now, it's working wonderfully. Thank you so much for your help.
@renél80416020 I tried the manual steps by ent

Bonjour @Anubhav M ,
Cela a fonctionné pour moi en utilisant regedit et en effectuant la modif manuellement.
Merci
PS
Le fichier .reg n'a pas fonctionné car on me dit qu'il doit être Binaire ??
C'est nouveau?

@renél80416020 I tried the manual steps by entering REGEDIT as you shown in the image, but it didn't work correctly. Try doing it through the CMOS command prompt and enter the code exactly as shown; it worked for me.
