Even with Hidden Characters turned on you shouldn’t get a paragraph mark at the end of every line. At least not with area type.

Are you maybe using point type? Or maybe you don’t know the difference between the two?

you some times see simple (enter) sign in the paragraph text. Dont need to worry

bout that. Just simply go to paragraph input mode and select and delete that by del button

or back space button.
i just faced this issue right now  and did it my self but just wanted to share with all.
