Pattern Options Default

Does anyone know a way to change defaults to the Pattern Options window?

I design patterns for a living that are usually based on repeats as large as 30"x30" and are applied to 7.5' Umbrella canopies (sized 1:1), so it bogs down my computer when I have to open the Pattern Options window and check the "Size Tile to Art" every. single. time.

Is there a way to make this box default checked?  HELP.

Save the file as a template.

Each time you open it you will see the same size pattern,,,

Maybe I'm doing it incorrectly, but I sized my pattern correctly, opened "Pattern Options" checked "Size Tile to Art" and saved it as a template. I reopened the file as a template, made a new pattern, and "Size Tile to Art" is not checked.

Is it possible to send screen shots of what you're suggesting?

I actually tried it again and it did not work. I am not sure you can do the default.. but maybe someone else can figure it out.... the pattern needs to be save first....and than you can apply the size.
