i think it must be swatch bounds lines but i can't find a way to resolve it

Can you please show the complete artwork?
So there is something dark below it?
And the pattern has been rotated?
Is this still there when you turn off the antialiasing in Preferences > General?

Hi @Monika Gause , thanks for the response.
the dark thing you mean is the backgroung i guess, but it shouldn't be seen there.
yes i rotated the pattern, but that was after i used it in a shape. then i cropped it to the artboard size.
I tried disabling anti-aliased artwork but sadly it didn't work.
it looks normal in this screen, but the problem can be seen when i zoom in, even in the exported png

I also tried object>expand and this happened, if it tells you something.

That is the normal behaviour for expanding: it will create clipping masks.

If turning off antialiasing doesn't get rid of the dark lines, please check the pattern. Is it really exact?
Are the lines gone when the pattern is not rotated and antia-aliasing turned off?

Can you tell me what do you mean by exact?
I tried and even if i dont rotate it (and anti-aliasing is turned off) the cuts are still there.
The pattern i made, it was with a single paw which didn't have such line cuts (also, not all the paws have the cuts, only the circled lines)

How did you create that pattern?

The shape - with pen tool, then the pattern object>pattern>make. to out it on the artboard - rectangle tool

Patterns made with the pattern maker should not have any real imprecision.
What you can do:
Work in the unit "pixels" - right click the ruler to get that.
Then edit your pattern in pattern editing mode (double click it in the swatches panel to get there)
Make yure you align the pattern bounds to the pixel grid. All the position and measurements need to be whole pixels

I'm very sorry, it still doesn't work.
maybe this is the problem but still, i don't know how to help it.
Thank you for your attempt ❤️

Lookat the width and height in your screendump, they should be round numbers, but you have 146,8024 px

So the Width and Height - can you try and get that with any comma vuales?

@Ton Frederiks @Monika Gause Ok so now when i tried with round numbers slightly changed but basically is still the same

Can you try to turn off in Preferences "Anti-aliased Artwork" and select in the View menu: View Using CPU?
When you export as an image file, use Art Optimized for anti-aliasing.

yep, tried that and still it can be seen 😞

Can you share an Illustrator example file?

Sure, here it is

Your pattern still has fractional pixel values (w 146,5 x h 169,5).
When I round that and use the CPU Preview, it displays and exports right.

I tried that way the problem was still there, however, by chance i found a new way that resolved the problem - the shape had 80% opacity which i round to 100% and the cuts were gone when i made the pattern again. still when i rotated the problem was here, so i tried object>expand before i rotated it and i finally lowered the opacity. couldn't resolve the old one, but made a new one with this way.
Despite everything thank you very much for the effort ❤️
