Patterns for clothing

I am looking for a programm in which I can make patterns for clothing. I am especially looking for a programm that allows me to pattern grading.

also, I should be able to save as .mdl or .dxf

Any ideas?

Illustrator can save dxf. You should be more precise as to what you want to do.

Hi. I'm using Patternmaker Grading Studio.  I paid around $1200

You can download a fully functioning trial.

There is also PatternMaster, which is a completely different program.  Easier, but a bit more expensive, maybe $2400.

Then there is Gerber, which will run $8,000 ++++

Hi Nicky, you can save DXF more precisely than Illustrator's native function with this plugin.
