Perspective Grid

Explorer ,
Feb 24, 2020 Feb 24, 2020

I need help creating a perspective grid for an interior room that has a flat back wall. I believe it ought to be a simple 1 point perspective but I'd like it to have grids for both the left and right wall, (floor and ceiling grids as well would be a great bonus!) How do I define this type of grid?

I seem to only get the Left Wall and Floor in the standard Illustrator 1 point perspective grid. Thanks for any help!

Hi,

Can you confirm the version of the software and the operating system you are using?

you can draw on the opposite side of the wall even if the grid is not showing, then use the perspective selection tool to reposition the nodes wherever you want

How do I get the green floor grid to move over far enough to the right to place objects on my right wall? The grid seems to be a boundary.

I do see that I can place objects in perspective on the right side, (this is great! Thanks) but it lands along the edge of the green.

Actually, I guess I can achieve this by way of "Shift, 5" to slide the objects back to the right wall. Is this my best method?

Also, excuse my lack of knowledge, what is this handle - that gives me an "o" when I mouse over it?
