Is anyone having any problems using the 3D tool in illustrator?
The perspective is almost in reverse. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but I have never experienced this before.
You are using 3D & materials - do you need materials? If not, I would use Classic 3D.
Also: the strokes: strokes can give you a lot of headaches. Maybe make them thicker.

Without some details of the objects used and the 3D settings applied it's hard to advise.

These are the settings used
And this is the outcome I am trying to achieve that I usually get with the settings used

It doesn't look as nice as the 3D and materials option though, so would be great it that was fixed at some point
