Placing a pixel image any illustrator (no matter how small) will make the UI stutter

When i copy paste any pixel image into illustrator (no matter how small) the performance will get super laggy. Tried reinstalling it, didn't work.

CPU 3,6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core ¡9
RAM 128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
2TB SSD

GPU AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB

I don’t have a solution, but maybe if you try to reset the preferences will work, here the instructions: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html#setting_illustrator_preferences

2nd option: Install an older version of Illustrator from the CC app. Go to the creative cloud app and click on the 3 dots next to Illustrator app to see more options and select other versions

you can install a previous version of Illustrator and maybe that will work, sometimes there are bugs and you have to update the system

3rd option: from the view manu use CPU instead GPU
