Hello,
I have upgrade to the latest version of the adobe apps. In Illustrator now when I try to resize my Drawing Table, it no longer shows the preview. So it has been very troubling me as I make my drawing table after I decide the size of my vectors, graphics, etc. Is anyone else notice this issue or only me. Please Help!

could you please explain what you mean by 'drawing table'?
maybe Artboard?

Oops, My bad. yes you are correct. I was talking about the artboard. In the previouse versions, when I go to resize the artboard, it gives me the preview. But now, no preview. So I have to take the size of my artwork and then have to resize the artboard. It is not a big deal, but with the preview I can save some time (even if it is a one second). Please add this option again. Thank you very much.

So Object>Artboards>Fit to Select Art doesn't work for you?

No, I'm not looking for that option. Just want illustrator to come back preview mode on artboards. Let's hope they make it come back.

Same (or similar?) issue using Artboards in Illustrator CC 2018. When I go to Artboard Options, and change the preset from say, 'Letter' to 'Fit to Artwork Bounds' or 'Fit to Selected Artwork', the screen does not show the changes dynamically as it did in 2017. I have to click OK to see if the change is correct. Also if I make changes to the Width and Height of existing files, I used to be able to see these changes on the fly prior to clicking OK in the dialog box. In 2018, the entire Artboard is selected regardless of the new Preset selection or change being made to the Width or Height. It isn't until after I've selected OK that I can see the requested change. This complicates my workflow. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this a new issue? Thanks!

This is the exact I've also been talking about. No preview now, not like 2017 version. Thank you for reporting in the same discussion. Let's hope they got our attention now and resolve this problem.

Instead of going into artboard options dialog, you can try using the properties panel panel or control panel. Just select the artboard tool and artboard context will be loading in them and you can perform the desired task. It will not show the live preview but will prevent you from going into artboard options again and again.
Thanks

Hello, Thank you for the instructions, but I'm asking all about the live preview. BDW is there a tool for artboards? Sorry for asking, but I haven't seen that kind of tool in illustrator.

i can see a preview of changes from the artboard options in CC2017 but not in illustrator 22. so you should probably log this as a bug.

Yeah, I also used to see it when I had 2017 version. So to report this as a bug, where do I have to write?

Thank you for the alternate solution. This is a workable alternative, albeit, it requires a several more mouse clicks to achieve than the actions described in my previous post. This OP here is indeed trying to describe a lost feature from 2017 to 2018. I will follow Doug's post to report the bug.
Thanks for the feedback!

if you post it on the uservoice site, post a link here so if anyone finds this thread they can find it and hopefully view its status.
