Preview of Illustrator AI Files not showing in Finder on Mac OS Ventura

I've seen many threads about Apple no longer supporting EPS previews in Finder and their associated workaround, but I am still not able to get AI files from Illustrator to show a preview in Finder. Does anyone have a workaround for this?

Thanks for your response!

So far the workaround worked for EPS files only, but sadly not AI files. I guess complaining to Apple is currently my only option, as a big part of my workday involves working with AI files, and not being able to preview the content (as was possible in the previous macOS) is very frustrating!

If you have already tried the workaround with editing the system files, then you're done. There is no other workaround. You could complain to Apple. For Windows there is at least a system extension available, but I haven't heard of one for Apple.
