Wenn ich die Voreinstellungen öffne dann erscheint das Fenster in dieser Größe. Ich kann es auch nicht größer ziehen.

Hi @wildsolutions,

Thanks for sharing the details. It seems like a  macOS display settings issue. Would you mind checking if setting your Macbook as Main display in System Preferences > Dsipalys > Select "Built-in Display" > "Use as Main Display" helps or not?

If it doesn't help, would you mind sharing your Mac specification?

Kindly update the discussion if you still need assistance with it. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,

Anshul Saini

hi Anshul,

you were right! As soon as I change the from the Apple Display to the integrated Macbook Display I can see the whole preference window! No restart of the app or computer is needed - it just works.

Thank you very much!

Peter

Try and reboot the computer.

If that doesn't work try resetting the preferences https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html

This will erase all your settings.

It also has been reported a few times on the forums with perhaps other solutions search for "preferences window too small"

Now I tried several things like:

- deleting preferences

- restarting computer

- reinstalling AI 2023

- reinstalling AI 2022

> seems to be an issue of Mac Os Ventura

PREFS  RESET WIN (other)

Press Win+R -> appdata -> Roaming -> Adobe -> rename folder "Adobe Illustrator 27 Settings"  to anything else like "Adobe Illustrator 27 Settings_old"

This brings your settings back to the factory defaults, and often clears up issues. An annoying but importnat setting to change for example is scale strokes. Adobe chooses to have that off by default, but in designing work to go to final print and preserving for example the appearance of a brandmark most people in a profesisonal environment will want that on.

Hi Mike,

thanks for your reply! In my case it was because of the second screen. Please read above 🙂
