Hello!
Today when I opened an old project in illustrator my Rectangle Tool was making parallelograms instead of 90 degree corners for rectangles. I do not know how this setting happened.
My guesses are:
1) I accidentally clicked this preference in the program and don't know where to change it back, or
2) Last I opened this project before the 2017 update and wonder if it is a bug.
Thanks for you time!
Scott
Turn off perspective grid?
Use Shift Command I, to toggle in and out of perspective grid.
That keyboard command is so close to check spelling Command I many people do the same, myself included.

If neither of these, please provide a screenshot or more information to better diagnose what is going on. Does this look different in outline view.

Excellent thought Monika!
Somehow I had switched this on unknowingly.
Thanks for the time, I appreciate it!
