RGB images Illustrator 2024 and 2025

Hi,

 

I noticed that Illustrator 2025 convert automatically RGB images to cmyk when generating pdf. Ai 2024 was keeping images in its original mode. Any idea?

What are your PDF settings?

Hi,

I use Illustrator default or Pdf-x4, everything without conversion and images are converted to cmyk in Ai 2025, Ai 2024 is not converting to cmyk. Thanks,

Thank you for sharing the details. Could you please provide a screenshot of the output settings in the "Save Adobe PDF" dialog box when exporting the PDF?
