When copying multiple lines with scribble effect, the same scribble pattern is used for each line. I'd like each line to be slightly different/unique. Is there an easy way to refresh or re-seed the randomizer that the scribble effect uses so the effect is no longer an exact copy from one line to another?
Unfortunately there is no way to re-seed the effect.
You could create a graphic style before deleting the effect, so that re-applying it is easier.

Exactly how do you duplicate them?

Just a simple Edit->Copy Edit->Paste after the effect has been applied to the original line.
It looks like I can remove the effect and then re-add it to all of the lines and the scribble effect becomes randomized accross the different line, so that's a solution. I was just curious if there was a way to re-seed how the effect is being randomized without deleting and re-adding.
Thanks

Hi Monika,
Thank you for the quick help. There's still some funny business with how the scribble pattern is applied. For example, if I create a few lines with the pen tool (not direct copies of each other), then group those lines, then apply the scribble to that group, the pattern is still repeated and the scribbles look identical across the lines. It seems I have to apply the effect individually to each line to get the pattern to be randomized.
But your suggestion to use a graphic style looks like it should make this process a lot easier to manage and update as needed.
Thank you!
