Scripting to reverse or flip the Start/End point of a line

First time here Hello all,

I draw maps and I know that Illustrator CS3 can decipher the start and end point of a line. I need to know if anyone has, or can write a script to change these attributes.

]e.g. Draw a 1 pt black line 6" long, in the appearance menu add a 3pt red line on top and in the stroke pallet click "round cap" then check "Dashed Line" and enter "0","30","0","0","0","0". This should give you a line with 13 red dots on it. The start of the line has the dot right on it and the end has a bit of the black line.

I have roads all over a map and need to reverse the start and end so that the start has the dot.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks, Jason
