Scripts Menu?

Is there a scripts menu? the only one i see is if you go to file>Scripts. Indesign has A Scripts Window and I'm looking for that in illustrator. Also can you set SHortcuts to individual Scripts like in indesign? Thank you.

I am not aware of such a panel.

You can record a script within an Action (Insert Menu Item) and give it a shortcut.

Apart from that, scripts can be installed in the presets folder in order to be accessible in the menu.
