Since latest AI update objects won't move in small increments

Since the latest AI update drawing objects won't allow me to use arrow keys to move in small increments. I have used Adobe products (Illustrator, Flash/Animate, Photoshop) extensively since at least CS3, currently using latest CC. I'm pretty used to the update quirks, like moving "Align to Grid" to a whole new location. Right now, all the tutorials and knowledge base articles still show you how to turn off Align to Grid and Snap to Pixel from the old locations and menus. However, I believe I've got them all turned off and yet I'm still not able to use arrow keys to move in small increments. If I use mouse I can get it close but I will usually move an object close enough with my mouse and then fine tune a couple clicks with arrows, now it's jumping more than a pixel each time I use arrows (it's not even jumping an exact pixel but just over or under a pixel). I've been trying to fix for days and can't seem to find the right options. Someone please help! And why does Adobe change major things like this with each update! I seem to lose 3-5 days of productivity with every update because they just move stuff around for no good reason, leave a select/deselect option in the same drop-down menu or at the very least update your how-to articles!

I do not have Avast but you did help me solve the issue! I changed the keyboard increment to 0.01 to test it out and realized that it was set to 1.0001, it looks like the beginning digit (1.)was just not visible without actually typing in the box. This is not a setting I have EVER set or changed and must have gotten glitched with the update. And yes that setting is far too small, setting it at 0.2 looks like that's about what I'm used to working with. Thanks for everyone's input, so happy to be

What specific values do you mean by 'small increments'?

When I'm looking a previously created document (created within last few months on AI CC) the objects seem to jump slightly more or less than a pixel, probably depending on where they fall on the grid but it's not the same exact amount of movement with each click of the keyboard arrow.

Using a new document that I created to figure this out, I've taken an object and aligned it exactly on even numbered xy points (my test document I used x: 250px, y: 450px) the object moves exactly 1 pixel. I can use the mouse to move object very slightly and in much smaller increments, which I have always been able to do using arrow keys, however I'm unable to use arrow keys now to move less than 1 pixel.

Original placement of object:

With arrows, 1 click down, 1 click right

Using mouse to move small increments but obviously not very precise movement

You never told us what you keyboard increment is set to.

Is the magnet icon on your top right of control bar  turned off?

Yes, magnet is off, see images I just posted. Once "Snap to Pixel" is deselected that goes away

Mike it looks like you also asked if I have any plug-ins, no I've never used plug-ins. I'm on a PC and use Windows 10. No major updates that I know of except the Adobe CC suite, I was having similar problems in Animate CC after update as well but that got resolved.

Settings for snap to "..." all deselected:

Keyboard increments set much smaller than a pixel:

It's got to be just some small settings I'm missing. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

I cannot set the smallest increment smaller than 0.01px and that works fine.

It looks more like a known problem with units and Avast anti-virus software.

Do you have Avast installed? If so what happens if you turn it off or un-install it?
