Hello Adobe community.
I am trying to draw one of the Emporer's Angels but when I create transparent curved shapes (black or white for shadow or highlight), there appears to be some extra lines that have been added. How am I supposed to show my devotion to the God Emporer of Mankind with these horrific blemishes built into the artwork.
If I export to Photoshop, they are not there so I suspect this is just visual on my Mac. Still annoying though and it's not the first time I've seen it.
Anyone else een or fixed this please?
This was solved. Command-E to switch view between GPU and CPU. Pretty lame illustrator can't handle a few curved lines. Maybe Figma does better with this.

It's your GPU that's mis-rendering them. Illustrator is not sending anything different. This can be caused by many issues, including out of date video drivers, or more commonly an inappropriate driver (e.g. a card can have different drivers for different purposes. For instance, a NVIDIA Game Ready driver does not do as well with graphic programs as their Studio driver). CPUs generally have better rendering, but are, of course, slower. The option to use a GPU can result in faster screen draws, but at the expense of accuracy.
