Hi, Im trying to make a packaging visual using several teal hues, but when starting to color the panels, the teal setting projects a classic sky blue hue, not even close to teal or a cyan...is there something wrong with the settings that I can adjust to get the right color tomes for the project?
Any suggestions are welcome, as soon as possible... 🙂
Thanks!

So you are in CMYK document color mode and what kind of color are you defining?

Which values do you enter? HEX? That will only work in RGB color mode. If it doesn't work, please describe step by step what you are doing. What happens when you use the Color panel instead of the color picker?

...when typing in 00FFFF in rgb mode i get a clear cyan that i could wontinue to work from to create various teal hues, but once in cmyk mode, it is all muddy and very blue-ish...I know there are isues in the greens/teals within cmyk, but it wil not even make a "cleanish" teal to begin with, only that same blue hue but muddier...i attach a screenshot of the 00FFF step, and when typing 100% in the cmyk section that same sky blue appear again, and not a tealish hue...i wonder if this is something in the settings rather than the picker or color giude and card...

That cannot be printed.
You might want to get a printed CMYK swatches book to see what can be printed and what can't.
