Text & Rectangle Issue

New Here ,
Jul 20, 2023 Jul 20, 2023

Hello,

How can i get text on top of a tectangle? If you create the rectangle first, you can set text on top easily. Lets say if i deleted the text with existing rectangle and added another text, it would put the new text as a lower layer and the rectangle hides it. How do you get the new text to be top layer?

Thank you All

You're welcome.

This is called the stacking order. Usually elements are just put on top of each other. There are several approaches to sorting it the way you want. If you want to dive deeper into it, you could investigate the layers panel (you have to actually open the layers by clicking on the little arrow. You can move around items there. WHat you could also check out is Paste in front and Paste in back. If you have something selected, then this command pastes the element from the clipboard in front or behind the selected element.
