Text changing when exporting to PDF in Adobe Illustrator

Text changing when exporting to PDF from Adobe Illustrator.

In the file, the text size, weight, font, and color are the same. There is a white background behind the text.

WHY is it different? It's driving me nuts.

** And before you come at me, the client first told me they wanted a full color infographic, so that's why I made it in illustrator. As they then explained their design later, it turned out they needed a decorated word document essentially. And I didn't use inDesign because I hate it. FML.

In Acrobat the second page’s text appears slightly broader here.

It seems the text is not pure black (0/0/0/100) but a 4C black (75/68/67/90).
