Text is highlighting the above or below where I click

When ever i try to highlight a word it highlights above or below where i click making it almost impossible to highlight what i want. I have attached a few screen shots of whats happening.

You cant see my cursor in the pic but it was at the top right of the highlighted area. The highlighted word was 1 line below where I clicked which makes it extremely difficult to highlight and change what I want.

Can you help??

that's because there's a baseline shift applied. the highlighting will appear where the text would be without the shift.

You're right. I don't know how that happened but When I changed that It fixed it right away.  Thanks!
