Textures showing as vertical lines

Hi there,

I use a lot of bitmap textures in my work and recently when I move them around they show as lines. If I change mode to outline and back to artwork they show correctly but its very annoying. See attached of what it should look like compared to the lined version.

My Mac is quite new, system upto date and the newest version of Illustrator.

Anyone had this issue?
