Hi, I don't know if there's already a thread about this, but after the latest update to Illustrator 2026, the search bar in my cloud documents disappeared (File - open - Cloud documents). I have a lot of similar documents, and for years I've been naming them according to keywords so I can quickly find older documents. Am I just looking in the wrong place, or is there a way to request that the search bar be brought back?

I will downgrade to older version for now, its kind of a deal breaker for me, I have hundreds of files in my cloud (.aic) from past 4 years. I found how to search after opening illustrator for the first file, but I cant do that if I open something and need to open second file (to copy logos from old file for example)
= I can search in home layout of illustrator, but cant search in File - open - Documents in Cloud and search there, It worked until v30.0

Bumping this — I opened the app today after the latest update, and I have no idea how to keep working now. I also have hundreds of files in the cloud labeled with keywords, and I use the search function many times a day. Please bring this feature back, it really makes work much harder without it.

Its annoying, either install odler version ( in creative cloud find illustrator, 3 bods, older versions) out you can open aic from creative cloud app - files, or you can search in Home layout and if you open something there is Home icon under file

The ability to select & delete a file appears to have gone as well.

Completely ridiculous to remove a feature like this. And for what? I'm seriously starting to think that NONE of you actually ever use the programs you create.

Well this is a bummer. Adobe is like the sound guy at a venue. Does soundcheck gets all the settings sounding great for the room. Come showtime there they are fiddling with all the knobs. Knock it off.

And i didnt mention how you cant see the number of Artwork, if you have anything above in top left now, you need to go to layers window and choose artworks

Yes, please fix this - it's awefully annoying not being able to search by name to find a project.

Yes, it's super annoying! I'm not sure why they would ever remove the search feature, it throws off my whole process. Overall I like the other upates, so I really don't want to dowgrade back to the previous version. Please bring this back Adobe!!

We shouldnt need to keep upvoting in hopes that maybe this request becomes priority, the search function shouldve never been taken away in the first place.

Since the new illustrator update I can no longer search for my files in illustrator. Anyone else experiencing this or know if theres a way to fix it? I can open my creative cloud app and search in there but this is not as convinent as being able to search within my files after requesting to open a file.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the details. Could you please confirm which version of Illustrator and operating system you're using? It would also be really helpful if you could share a short screen recording showing your workflow and how the issue appears, so I can better understand what's happening.
Looking forward to hearing back.

I am using the newest version of illustrator (30.0) and my operating system is macOS Tahoe 26.0.1. I dont want to record my screen as im working on confidential things for clients. The issue appears In the illustrator app when I click "open". It takes me to my files but there is no longer an option to search within them, I can only scroll till i find the one I want to open. Before the new update I could search for the file I want to open
