The software keeps scrolling to the bottom of the document.

I have illustrator 2017 and i'm running into a very annoying problem.  While i'm working, the viewport will suddenly enter a dead scroll to the bottom of the document and stop there.  I don't even need to touch the computer.  It will just derp out and scroll straight down.  My mouse is not the reason, or I wouldn't be writing about it here.  It does this exclusively in illustrator.  It has never done it in Photoshop, Animator or InDesign.

• Have you tried installing the latest Illustrator release that is available? (Open the Creative Cloud Desktop application, and click Apps, then scroll down to Illustrator and click the Update button).
