Thumbnails on windows preview panel VERY small

Hello please see screenshot attached. The thumbnail is very small - PDFs show up ok and large and also PNG etc but AI files and AI template files are to small to see - please help - I am pulling my hair out. Thank you

You might want to check out Adobe Bridge that comes with the Creative Cloud. This is an Adobe program that is like a file browser on steroids.

When saving an Illustrator file, the Illustrator Options dialog box contains the option Create PDF Compatible File. Is yours turned off?

Hello - Yes this does make it better to view with the tick/unticked when saving as a AI file. But we save our designs as a Ilustrator files as a 'save as template' which does not give you the PDf options to tick/untick so always remains smaller 😞

 

But thank you for your effors we will now use this software as it is better still
