I want to know that is there any method to trap multiple tiff (jpeg. psd) files in illustrator? I have a file of Illustrator & i placed some tiff files in illustrator now i want to give trapping to my tiff files.

Trapping mean overlap the edges of of one object to another object to hide white area of card or paper.

No, you cannot trap images in Illustrator.
But you can trap vector objects with the Pathfinder panel menu.
To trap images use Photoshop: Image menu > Trap

Ton Frederiks the problem is that the client has sent me an artwork of 7 colors for printing which have 3 spot color, he placed all tiff files in illustrator all tiff files are made by spot colors now i have multiple tiff files with spot colors and i need to trap them. i have a solution but it is some lengthy so i thought may be illustrator have same option like photoshop.

Generally, trapping is done by your printer if and when it's necessary, the width and type of trapping would be determined by the printing method. Trapping is done in the rip automatically and is more accurate than can be done by hand. If you are supplying your printer with pre-trapped files, this could cause unexpected results. That said, if you want to trap in Illustrator by hand, you can create a thin stroke on the vector art over the image and set it to overprint. In order to trap one image to another, you can copy the top image, then set the transparency of the image to multiply, paste the image in place, create a clipping mask, then shrink the clipping mask a small amount. The difference between the multiplied image and the normal image is your trap area.

You're welcome. I would check with your client to be sure he/she really wants to print in 7 colors, designers often use spot color swatches by mistake.

No dear the job is in 7 colors 4 basic and 3 spots. i have a solution to solve my problem by splitting channels but it is little bit lengthy.
