Ungroup will revert transformed effect

Community Beginner ,

Hello,

I draw a rectangle and a circle in the canvas and grouped them together. Then I transfromed them with Effect/Distort & Transform/Transform. When I ungroup them, the transformed effect is missing. How should I keep the transformed effect when I ungroup them?

Thanks.

You can't. The effect is applied to the group. And when the group is gone, the effect has to go as well.

You can create a graphic style and then apply that to the objects after ungrouping.
