I'm having an issue where a black background prints and shows up in a PDF of a file where there is no black background. Also, when I opened an SVG file created by someone else, a black background appeared where there shouldn't be one. I'm including screenshots of the illustrator file (no background) and the PDF (black background). Any ideas?
The black patch is defined as 100C 100M 100Y 0K, which is odd in itself.
Do you have the original .AI file for this that doesn't have the background? i.e. Can you open it in an earlier (non-Beta) version? and does the black ONLY appear if you save the PDF from v30?
Also, suffice it to say, this is a reminder that one should really avoid using Beta software in a production environment.

Where are you viewing the PDF? If it's Acrobat, make sure you don't have Replace Document Colors selected in Preferences > Accesibility, although this shouldn't affect print.
Can you share such a PDF?

It is better to post this to the Beta forum:

Opened the file in non-Beta Illustrator and the problem resolved.

That's why it is better to report beta problems on the beta forum (or use the feedback in the beta itself).

Hello @karlo94888969 - To further investigate this issue, possible for you to share the original AI document where there is no background? Also any video of the steps followed to encounter this issue would be helpful.
