Update 26.3.1 Glitching with alignment

The new update is causing glitching with alignment...

- Mirroring an object it does not stay aligned with the original object

- Drawing a new object i.e. a square - it draws on a slight angle and does not stay parallel

It's definitely a bug on the new update please I went back to the old one and its working fine...

We are sorry to hear about that. I am glad that reverting to the older version of Ai resolved the issue for you.

 

However, I tried but couldn't replicate the issue on v26.3.1. Were you able to check the preference Doug requested you to check?

 

Also, would it be possible for you to update again to v26.3.1 and share a small recording demonstrating the issue? It would really help us investigate the issue further.

In Preferences > General, what does it say against Constrain Angle?
