I've always held down the option key on a mac and scolled to zoom in and out. Doesn't work on CC. Is there a setting for that I'm missing? I can't locate it.
Thanks-
Apologies for the long wait. The bug has been fixed in the latest Illustrator CC update (17.0.1). Please install the update either through the Creative Cloud Desktop app or in-app by Help > Updates.

it's a bug they're "working on"
solution is to use CS6

Same thing happening to me and I've tried both methods of deleting illustrator preferences. Similarly to most I had CS6 installed when I installed CC and have since had to revert back to CS6

Same problem - argh, and I've also already deleted CS6 - I get that you're going to have bugs with new software Adobe, but how could you miss something like this? It's probably the most commonly used function on one of the most commonly used machines by creative professionals.

Phew... same issue here and I thought perhaps I was just losing my mind. Hope this gets fixed soon - slows me down considerably. (Magic Mouse, OS X 10.8.4, Mac Pro)

Same issue here with the Apple Magic Mouse. Can't wait for a fix - because it's drivin' me nuts!

I have the same issue on an iMac 21" with OS X 10.8.4 and Magic Mouse (all the boxes are checked on Preferences > Mouse). I tried with a Mighty Mouse and it worked just fine, also tried with a Genius mouse and everything's ok, it just seems to be an issue with Magic Mouse.
Magic Mouse works just fine with Illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CC.
I hope that the Creative Cloud promises of fast app updates, come true in this moment.

Is there any updates from adobe? I saw a post from an Adobe staffer a
few days ago saying they were working on it, I wonder how much of a
priority it is.
It's driving me insane!

It would be really nice to have some sort of update, other than "We know it's a problem". It would help many of us with this problem decide whether or not to live with it for a couple more days or if it's going to take a while, then we can know it's best for our workflow to move back to CS6 until this is fixed.
Is it a few days away from a fix? A week? A few weeks? A month? Couple of months? Something, anything, but the silence is not helpful at all.
Throw us a bone Adobe. Status?

Everything works with the exception of option+scroll. This is really jacking with my workflow.

Another victim reporting in. As previously mentioned, option-scroll zoom works just fine for me in the CC versions of PS and ID.

I also feel my workflow is ruined. Upset that I chose to uninstall Illustrator CS6 as CC install seemed to go smoothly. What a mess!
I'm on a MBpro Late 2011 with a magicmouse. Other adobe CC apps seem to be fine.
Pinch to zoom on trackpad works fine. But no alt+scroll, which like a large number of other people I am finding extremely frustrating. My new favourite quote: "This is really jacking with my workflow."
