When opening a SVG (B&W) file with Illustrator, I want the blacks to be all 100% K

When opening a SVG file with Illustrator, it will have a color value for all CMYK. The black will not be 100% black. I work with black color files only and would need them to open in Illustrator as 100% black. Any setting for this?

That's entirely up to the SVG source. Since CMYK support in SVG is still experimental, most of them will be RGB, hence the color conversion. Unless you can control the source of the SVGs, there is no way to change this. AI treats it simply like any other RGB document converted to CMYK.

You can easly change all strokes/fills to 100% by Select>Same> Stroke/Fill/Aperance (depending on workart You have)

The easy change would be in Edit > Edit colors > Recolor artwork.

This is only useful after converting the file to CMYK color mode.

Totally true, I've forgot recolor at all.

The question was not how to change it. We are talking when there are a lot of files per day (50-100) and we need it to open in Illustrator as 100K

You can't. Illustrator will always open them as RGB and whatever color has been in there will be converted to RGB color space. RGB color space doesn't have 100K.

So you will need to think about making a script or an action to convert your files.

But then: what are you going to save? Another SVG? It won't have 100K in it, because Illustrator can only save SVG in RGB color space, so black will be converted again.
