Workspace objects are moving while moving

New Here ,

  • I am here to beg those of you that know what you are doing to help me. I can't pinpoint when this started to happen but my workspace is just so messed up. Everything moves when I accidentally touch it. The artboards are sliding under the sidebars (I don't know official names which makes it so hard to solve). The layers get lost, then my color choices are gone. It goes on and on. It's an illustrator and photoshop. I constantly reset to the "default workspace" but it doesn't help for long.  been working every day for several years with these programs and it's never been like this. I know it must be something simple but I can't figure it out. It feels like it needs to be locked into place or something. I hope this makes sense. I know I sound dumb too. I'm just so frustrated. Thank you so much if you can help. I do have Mojave

Hi,

We'll be happy to help.

Monika has asked spot-on questions about chrome and restart, that should work.
Could you please provide us version of Illustrator and Photoshop you have installed?

I'd also recommend you to reset the preferences for Illustrator, you can take help from the article: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html#setting_illustrator_preferences

To reset the preferences for Photoshop, you can take help from the article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Ashutosh
